This community service activity took place at the Sumber Rejeki Livestock Group in Banaran Village, Kulon Progo Regency. The aim was to improve farmers' skills in producing valuable compost from cow dung. Methods included mapping pen conditions and waste-potential, providing compost training, and introducing production technology and biotechnology. Cow feces and leftover feed were aerobically fermented using the stacking-and-turning method for 21 days, then sieved. Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi were added at the final stage to enhance fertilizer performance. Compost output rose from 50 kg to 1 ton per month. Decomposition times shortened, and compost quality became more uniform. Group members gained technical skills, better waste management, and knowledge of livestock product diversification. The activity improved group sustainability, reduced pollution, and created new economic opportunities through organic fertilizer production.
